Taiwan’s major mobile telecommunication operator, Taiwan Mobile has announced the phablet-sized TWM Amazing X7 (Taiwan Mobile Amazing X7) smartphone in the home country. The hardware manufacturing aspect is handled by ZTE and the device is already on sale (mid-November) through the carrier as well as associated dealers for TWD 4990 (USD 152).
Moving to the specifics, the TWM Amazing X7 sports a 5.5-inch LCD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels (HD), powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 MSM8939 processor clocked at 1.5GHz with Adreno 405 GPU, 3GB of RAM and 32GB built-in storage space.
In the camera segment, the Amazing X7 has a front facing 5-Megapixels camera for selfies & video chats and a rear facing 13-megapixels camera with LED flash. It is compatible with FDD-LTE, W-CDMA and GSM networks in the country and has Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, micro USB, GPS and 4G LTE (LTE Cat.4) connectivity support.
Running Android 5.0.x Lollipop OS out-of-the-box, the TWM Amazing X7 has Dual SIM slots, a microSD card slot for storage expansion and is available in black colour option only. There is no specific information on the battery capacity but it is expected to have one between the region of 2000 – 3000mAh.
