ZTE has officially announced the ZTE Nubia Z11 Mini, it follows the Nubia Z9 Mini from last year. Although there is no details when the Nubia Z11 and Nubia Z11 Max will go official, this model will go on sale starting April 25th for a price tag of CNY 1499 (US$ 232). There would also be special editions with Wood and Metal Back side textures.
The ZTE Nubia Z11 Mini sports a 5.2-inch LTPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection, 2.5D curved glass and 1920 x 1080 pixels (Full HD) screen resolution. It weighs 138 grams in size, packed in a metal unibody and comes in Gold, Black and Black colour options.
On the inside, the Nubia Z11 Mini relies on an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor clocked at 1.5GHz with Adreno 405 GPU, 3GB of RAM and 64GB eMMC 5.1 storage space. It supports additional storage up to 200GB and boots Android 5.1 Lollipop OS with Nubia UI 3.9.6 ontop.
For photography, there is a rear facing 16MP camera with Sony IMX298 sensor, Phase Detection Auto-Focus (PDAF) and 6-element lens with an f/2.0 aperture. The front camera is a 8MP snapper with a 1.4um pixel size and 80-degree wide-angle lens with an f/2.4 aperture. The fingerprint sensor sits below the main camera on the back.
Measuring 8mm thick, the ZTE Nubia Z11 Mini is equipped with Hybrid Dual SIM slots, DTS Sound, USB Type-C port and is backed by a 2800mAh battery with fast charging. It supports 2G, 3G and 4G LTE networks as well as dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.1, and GPS.
