ZTE’s welll known sub-brand, Nubia has announced a new smartphone – the Nubia Z11 Mini S, in China. The new smartphone becomes the fourth smartphone in the Z11 series, falling behind the Nubia Z11 Max, Nubia Z11, and Nubia Z11 mini.
The highlight of the ZTE Nubia Z11 mini S is the rear facing Sony-made 23MP f/2.0 camera with 0.1 second Phase Detection AutoFocus, alongide a front facing 13MP camera with 1/3.06″ sensor with f/2.2 aperture and PDAF, for selfies and video chats.
The device sports an all metal build, curved antenna bands seen at the rear top and bottom and a 5.2-inch Full HD display with 450 nits brightness, 1500:1 contrast ratio and wide 150% NTSC color gamut. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor packed along with 4GB of RAM.
The Nubia Z11 mini S measures 7.6mm thick, weighs 158 grams, packs Hybrid Dual SIM slots, fingerprint sensor, USB Type-C port and boots Nubia’s own Nubia UI 4.0 (based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow). Connectivity options on the device include – 4G LTE, VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.1, and Dual Band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac.
In terms of pricing, the base Nubia Z11 Mini S mode with 64GB storage costs 1499 Yuan (~ $223) and the higher 128GB model costs (~ $282). Both versions are upo] for pre-orders and sales begin on October 25.
