ZTE is expected to announce its next generation of smartphones in the ZTE Nubia series – the ZTE Nubia Z9, ZTE Nubia Z9 Max and the ZTE Nubia Z9 Mini. While we have managed to get spot the Nubia Z9 and Nubia Z9 Max in some series of leaks; we have just managed to get hands on details of the upcoming Nubia Z9 Mini. It is expected to be modelled after the ZTE Nubia Z9 Max but as expected in a smaller body and is slightly thicker.
Taking a look at the ZTE Nubia Z9 Mini specs – it sports a 5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD OGS display, powered by an octa-core Qualcomm snapdragon 615 processor with 2GB of RAM and 16GB space of internal storage (expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card slot).
On the rear there is a 16MP camera and a front facing 8MP snapper. It measures 141.3 x 69.8 x 8.2mm in dimensions, runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS with Nubia UI V2.8. It is also expected to support all 4G carriers in China – China Mobile, China Unicom and China Telecom.
That’s all we have on the ZTE Nubia Z9 Mini but let’s quickly look at what to expect from the ZTE Nubia Z9 and Nubia Z9 Max. Both smartphones are powered by the octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor with Adreno 430 GPU, 3GB of RAM, 4G LTE, 8MP front camera and Dual SIM slot. While they both use Quad HD resolution on their display – the former has a 5-inch display (578ppi) and the latter has a 5.5-inch display (538ppi); and again the Z9 sports 20.7MP main camera while the Z9 Max opts for a 16MP main snapper.
