ZTE S2010 gets certified on TENAA With Android 5.1 Lollipop and Octa-core SoC onboard

A new ZTE smartphone has been certified by Chinese Regulatory Agency, TENAA and the specs along with the images of the device are listed in the agency’s database. Known as the ZTE 2010, the smartphone has a metal body build, powered by an octa-core chipset and supports LTE connectivity. ‎

According to the listing, the ZTE S2010 features a 5-inch TFT display with 1280 x 720 pixels (HD) screen resolution, powered by an octa-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz (could be the MediaTek MT6753) paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB space of internal storage. For additional storage space, there is a microSD card slot for storage expansion (up to 32GB). 

The smartphone has Dual SIM slots (with Dual Standby, Dual 4G), weighs 124 grams and measures 142.2 x 70.6 x 7.4mm in dimensions and support for GSM, TD-SCDMA, TD-LTE, LTE FDD, WCDMA networks. Asides LTE, there are also other standard connectivity options onboard Bluetooth, Wi-fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, micro USB 2.0. ‎

Handling photography on the device is a 8-megapixel rear facing camera with LED flash and a front facing 5-megapixel camera for selfies. 

While there is no word on the battery capacity, the ZTE S2010 boot Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out-of-the-box with the company’s customised UI (Nubia) ontop which is a plus considering some higher model smartphones don’t have the upgrade yet.‎
