One of the main criteria people use in choosing a smartphone is the camera and we are currently, we are in the era of selfies, photos and videos. For those who prefer a phone without a camera – ZTE has you covered with the ZTE S3003.
The ZTE S3003 has been certified on TENAA in China and we could be looking at the first 4G LTE enabled smartphone lacking a back and front camera. It sports a 5-inch TFT capacitive touch display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels (HD), pixel density of 294ppi and the bezels at the side of the screen is minimal.
Under the hood, the device is powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz paired with 1GB of RAM and 8GB space of internal storage. There is an option to extend storage up to 32GB via a microSD card slot and surprisingly the listing doesn’t include the OS version used.
Measuring 142.2 x 70.6 x 7.4mm in dimensions, the ZTE S3003 weighs 117 grams, comes in a Gold colour option and supports GSM, TD-SCDMA and TD-LTE networks.
With the exception of people requiring smartphones without cameras for privacy, it is very hard to find smartphones nowadays without a reasonable camera on the front and back. Stay tuned for more on this story as it develops.
