ZTE Mobiles has refreshed its ‘Small Fresh’ series smartphone line-up with the ZTE Small Fresh 5 (ZTE Xiaoxian 5). Joining the ranks of devices with dual rear cameras, the device has a body made of mostly metal and comes in four different colours – Dark Night Gray, Elegant Gold, Glacier Blue and Green.
The dual camera setup on the Small Fresh 5 – a primary 13MP camera with LED flash along with a secondary 2MP camera for capturing depth information, is one of the highlights. The user can also adjust the aperture from f/1.0 and f/8.0. The front camera is a 5MP snapper for selfies and video chats.

The device has a 5-inch IPS display with 1280 x 720 pixels (HD) resolution, quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor, rear fingerprint sensor, and either 3GB + 16GB or 4GB + 32GB RAM and built-in storage options. For additional storage, there is a microSD card slot for storage expansion (up to 128GB).
The ZTE Small Fresh 5 (Xiaoxian 5) boots Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS with MiFavour 4.2 UI on top and draws energy from a 2,500mAh battery. In terms of pricing, the 3GB model costs CNY 999 (US$ 146) and the 4GB model costs CNY 1,399 (US$ 204). It will go on sale in China on July 5.
