Infinix Mobility has announced a new concept phone with extremely high fast charging capacity. The Infinix Concept Phone 2021, as it is popularly known, features the company’s 160W Ultra Flash Charge technology that can charge a phone with 4,000mAh battery full in about 10 minutes. It charges from 0 to 18% in 1 minute, up to 58% in 5 minutes and up to 100% in 10 minutes.
Infinix’s 160W Ultra Flash Charge technology uses a 160W GaN/SiC charger and the in-house Super Charge Pump used boasts 98.6% efficiency. The phone is equipped with 20 temperature sensors to ensure heat stays below 40ºC (104ºF) and triggers security protection when abnormal voltage or electromagnetic interference kicks in. There is a total of 60 security protection mechanism onboard and charger can be used to charge phones as well as laptops.
The Infinix Concept Phone 2021 also showcases the company’s new color changing technology, which is based on electrochromic and electroluminescent technology. This technology is prominent in the NOW insignia on the rear panel as the “O” pulses when the phone charges while the rest of the back panel changes colour according to different notifications and events.

The device has a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen with in-display fingerprint sensor and 88º curvature, leaving little room for buttons on the side. It is equipped with a MediaTek Helio G95 SoC paired with 8GB of RAM, 128GB built-in storage, 32MP front camera and 50W wireless charging support. The rear camera setup includes a 64MP main camera paired with 8MP ultra-wide and 8MP periscope sensors.
