Google has a new product and service subscription plan called Pixel Pass. It is expected to deliver the latest Pixel Smartphones – Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro, alongside other Google mobile services for storage, movies and shows alongside device protection and regular updates.
It is similar to Apple’s One service because they both focus on offering their respective mobile services in one single subscription, however, the former also includes a Pixel phone, which makes the offer more exciting. For a monthly fee of US$ 45 for the Pixel 6 and US$ 55 for the Pixel 6 Pro, users will also be subscribed to the following Google services: Google Play Pass, YouTube Music Premium, YouTube Premium, Google One (200GB) and Care Coverage.

To subscribe to Pixel Pass, simply visit the Google Store or subscribe through the phone plan on Google Fi (new and existing customers). Users can opt-out anytime, however, the remaining value of the Pixel phone must be paid off.
Google also used the opportunity to announce its latest Phone app features for US-bound Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro. Both models will have Wait Times and Direct My Call, and Call Screen.
- ‘Wait Times’ will provide Pixel users with current and projected wait times on toll-free business number while ‘Direct My Call’ uses Google’s Duplex technology to help users navigate automated messages and menu during calls to business numbers.
- Call Screen will identify and help screen calls, mostly from unknown numbers.
